"This experience has been nothing short of amazing!
When I first applied for this traineeship, I thought that I was signing up for a typical Monday-to-Friday 9-to-5 translation role, but it turned out to be so much more.
The flexible and welcoming work environment enabled me to connect with my colleagues, better my translation skills and genuinely enjoy my time here.
Getting involved in the traineeship sub-committees also enabled me to be an active member of the traineeship group.
Furthermore, this traineeship has given me a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet and learn from people from across Europe.
Although I considered myself to be a well-travelled individual before my traineeship, after spending five months, meeting and learning from trainees from each of the 27 member countries, my travel bucket list has more than doubled!
Whilst in Luxembourg, we celebrated each cultural celebration from each country.
This was the most enriching experience imaginable. "
