My name is Lovepreet and I am trainee at DG EAC in the youth policy and DiscoverEU Team. I have an international background as I have lived in different countries: born in Punjab, brought up in Italy, studied in the UK and now I work at the European Commission in Brussels!

This experience has been nothing short of amazing learning opportunities, meeting new people, travelling and getting a good grasp of the working dynamics of the EU Institutions. During these five months, I have been able to make an impact in the lives of many young people through the work done within my team and I have also had the pleasure to meet them and hear their exciting endeavours!

I would recommend this traineeship to anyone looking to make an impact, to understand what the EU has to offer and to join forces for a bright and better future.
