Being the Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator has been the added value to my traineeship. My experience as a Blue Book trainee would not have been the same without this mandate.

With the D&I subcommittee, we focused on awareness raising and activities related diversity, equality, inclusion, well-being and mental health at the Commission as an employer. Our biggest task was to conduct the trainee-led survey on diversity and inclusion for Blue Book trainees. Besides, we tried our best to liaise between trainees and staff associations, diversity organisations and stakeholders within and outside the Commission.

I am grateful for this rewarding opportunity and truly hope that commitment to diversity, equality and inclusion will remain high on the Commission's agenda!
