The Traineeships Office is the Service in charge of the traineeship programme (Blue Book traineeships). Staff members of the Traineeships Office assist trainees prior to the trainees' arrival, and during their first weeks at the Commission.
The Traineeships Office sends the trainees the placement offers and will be their contact point before their arrival.
Upon the trainees' arrival, the Traineeships Office replies to any practical questions that they might have. During the traineeship, the Directorate-General in which a trainee works will guide the trainees. Only if a problem cannot be solved at their level, the service or the trainee should contact the Traineeships Office to find a solution.
